/*
  EUROCUTPRECISION — self-hosted typefaces.

WHY THESE ARE SERVED FROM THIS ORIGIN AND NOT FROM GOOGLE.

The site loaded IBM Plex from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com on 39 of its
40 pages. That is a render-blocking stylesheet from a third party, and every visitor's
IP address and user agent reached that third party before a single word was painted —
on a site that otherwise sets no cookie, runs no analytics and has no tracking pixel.
It was, by a wide margin, the largest privacy exposure on the site, and it bought
nothing: the files are 144 KB and can be served from here.

Removing it also removed two DNS lookups, two TLS handshakes and a serial dependency
from the critical path — the stylesheet had to arrive before the font request could
start. Self-hosted, the browser begins fetching the font from a connection it already
  has open.

WHAT IS HERE. IBM Plex Sans is a VARIABLE font — one file covers 400 to 700, which is
every weight this design system uses, so the three static weights it used to download
are one request. IBM Plex Mono is static and needs one file per weight. Latin and
Latin Extended are separate faces with their own unicode-range, so a page with no
Polish or Czech in it never downloads the extended set.

font-display: swap — text paints immediately in the fallback stack and reflows when
the face arrives. On a technical site, text a visitor can read now beats text in the
  right typeface later.
