EUROCUTPRECISION Digital Platform — currently being expanded. Product families, technical resources and regional distribution information are being introduced progressively.

What is changing

Cookies and Storage

Every item this website stores on your device, and every third party your browser contacts while reading it. The list is generated from the site's own source code, and a test fails if the software ever stores something this page does not name.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. Not one — not for analytics, not for preferences, not for advertising. Nothing on any page writes to document.cookie.

It does use two browser storage mechanisms that are related but not the same thing, and they are listed below in full. Unlike a cookie, neither is sent to a server with each request; both stay on the device and are readable only by this site.

What is stored on your device

  • eurocut_rfq_list ESSENTIAL

Holds the tools added to a quotation request so the list survives moving between product pages.

    Mechanism
    sessionStorage
    How long it lasts
Cleared when the browser tab is closed.
    Written by
    assets/js/main.js
  • eurocut_order_cart ESSENTIAL

Holds the contents of the order cart between visits.

    Mechanism
    localStorage
    How long it lasts
Until the cart is emptied or site data is cleared in the browser.
    Written by
    assets/js/order-cart.js
  • eurocut_display_currency FUNCTIONAL

Remembers whether prices are shown in USD or EUR, so the choice does not have to be made again on every page.

    Mechanism
    localStorage
    How long it lasts
Until changed or site data is cleared in the browser.
    Written by
    assets/js/commerce.js
  • eurocut_platform_notice_dismissed FUNCTIONAL

Remembers that the platform-status notice at the top of the page has been dismissed, so it is not shown again.

    Mechanism
    localStorage
    How long it lasts
Until site data is cleared in the browser.
    Written by
    assets/js/platform-bar.js

All four are first-party: written by this site, readable only by this site, and removable at any time by clearing site data in your browser. Clearing them loses a quotation basket and a dismissed notice, and nothing else.

Third parties your browser contacts

One, on one page.

challenges.cloudflare.com — Turnstile, Cloudflare, Inc. ESSENTIAL
Where: The quotation request form only.
Why: Distinguishes a person from an automated submission, so the quotation form is not usable as a spam relay.
What it can see: IP address, browser and device characteristics, and interaction with the widget.
Cloudflare states that Turnstile is not used to build advertising profiles. It is loaded on no other page.

Until recently there was a second: the site loaded its typefaces from Google Fonts on 39 of its 40 pages, which handed every visitor's IP address to Google before a word appeared on screen. The typefaces are now served from this domain, and no page contacts Google at all.

No analytics service, advertising network, tag manager, social widget, embedded video, embedded map or chat widget is loaded anywhere on this site.

Removing what is stored

Clearing site data for this domain in your browser removes all four items immediately. Browsers offer this under Privacy, Site settings or Clear browsing data, depending on the browser. Blocking storage entirely is also supported: the site continues to work, the quotation basket simply stops remembering between pages.
