Technical Downloads
What exists, what does not, and what to request with an enquiry. Nothing on this page is a placeholder for a document that has not been produced.
General engineering reference Standard, publicly established machining knowledge — formulas, ISO classifications and industry practice. This is not EUROCUTPRECISION-specific cutting data and no value here is a test result obtained with a EUROCUTPRECISION tool.
Current document availability
Technical documentation is released as the manufacturer confirms it. The table below is the honest current position for every document class, for every published family. It is generated from the product catalogue's own document status fields, so it cannot drift from what the catalogue records.
| Document | Status | What it will contain |
|---|---|---|
| Product datasheet (PDF) | In preparation | Per-variant dimensional data, geometry and application data, in a printable sheet |
| Dimensioned drawing | Awaiting manufacturer release | A dimensioned technical drawing per variant. No approved drawing exists; no schematic is published in its place |
| CAD / STEP model | Awaiting manufacturer release | A neutral-format solid model per variant, for CAM and fixture design |
| Series catalogue (PDF) | In preparation | The full published programme in one document |
| Cutting data | Published | Slot and side milling parameters per workpiece material, on each variant page |
| Substrate and carbide grade | Awaiting manufacturer documentation | The coating is published; what is underneath it has not been supplied in writing |
| Certificates | Not published | Any certification is published only when held and verifiable. Nothing is claimed here |
A document that does not exist is listed as not existing. No generic file is substituted for a product-specific one, and no certification is implied by the presence of a row in this table.
What is available now
The published dimensional data appears directly on the site and is machine-checked against the catalogue on every build:
- Z5 series specification table — all ten variants, side by side.
- Per-variant specification tables on each product page — diameter, shank diameter, LOC, OAL, corner radius, flute count and identifier.
- The Technical Center guides — general machining engineering reference, freely readable, no registration.
- The Downloads Center — the file-based downloads area, as documents are released into it.
Requesting a document
If a document is needed for an engineering or purchasing decision, request it with your enquiry rather than waiting for a release. Every product page carries a Request Documentation control that adds the requirement to your quotation request as a note against that specific tool, so the request arrives attached to the variant it concerns.
Requests handled this way include: datasheets, dimensioned drawings, CAD or STEP models, material and coating specification, and certification where applicable.
CAD and 3D — the intended formats
When models are released, the intended formats are:
| Format | Purpose |
|---|---|
| STEP (AP214 / AP242) | The neutral exchange format for CAM, fixture design and simulation |
| STL | Mesh export for visualisation and printing |
| OBJ | Mesh interchange for visualisation |
| GLB / glTF | Web delivery for the interactive viewer |
No model exists today in any of these formats. The web viewer is built to display a real model when one is supplied and displays nothing in the meantime — it never renders a representative or approximated tool.
The full technical requirement that has been put to the manufacturer — required formats, tolerance, orientation, units and per-variant coverage — is documented alongside the 3D viewer architecture.
